Vash Designs is always on the lookout for talented artists and writers to add to our line.
Ideally they come in one package, but we can pair them up if they don’t.

 What we want:
Concept is King. We are looking for witty and a little bit edgy humor that makes you think. Illustrations, Photography,
Mayonnaise and rusty nails are all fine, as long as it can be turned into a greeting card.

What we don’t want:
• Cute little images of your pets
• Anything with a unicorn, unless it is being killed.
• Yours or anybody else’s private parts.(Porn)
• Cards that are mean spirited like “Happy Birthday, I hope you die a slow painful death”, don’t seem to work.

When creating your artwork, some things to think about:
• Women and gay men are the primary consumers of greeting cards
• Who is the intended recipient?
• Our needs include Birthday, Bachelorette, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day,   Any Occasion, Over the Hill, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, Graduation, anniversary and Get Well

Payment:
We negotiate payment with each artist depending on what the artist provides. We prefer to work on a royalty basis which ultimately is better for the artist, but a flat fee can be negotiated.

Submission Guide Lines:
Design your card in a 5 X 7 Vertical format
Save your work as either a .pdf or .jpg
If there are many images, please .zip the files.
Make sure to provide your contact information.
